We happy, after our first birthday (11/11/10), to announce padrino 0.9.19.

We are very, very, near to the version 1.0.

We need to finish only three things:

• Documentation of padrino-cache
• Finish ajax helpers
• Finish nested forms helpers

If you want to contribute, focus on this three points.

Padrino 0.9.18 provides some additional fixes from both the team and the community as well as an update to the latest http_router. thanks guys!

We pushed a new version of Padrino with few fixes and a new enhancement.

thechangelog is a weekly podcast hosted by Adam and Wynn that discusses “what’s fresh and new in open source”. Two of the core Padrino team members, Nathan and Arthur, recently had an opportunity to chat on air when Adam and Wynn decided to devote an entire episode to Padrino! The podcast runs for about 32 minutes and includes a nice discussion about Rack, Middleware, Sinatra and Padrino. Read the full blog post to listen to the interview!

Our team has been working hard on Padrino for the last few months to get this framework polished enough to be used by a larger group of people. For the most part, Padrino is now quite stable and has been used to develop a number of applications (including this site!).

We recently decided to focus our efforts on generating documentation to easily inform developers of the functionality provided by this framework. This website is our first attempt to make the necessary information about Padrino readily available to all.
